Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino Recipe
Enjoy a classic Italian pasta dish with this easy-to-follow recipe for Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino.
Ingredients:
- 200g of spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 1-2 red chili peppers, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and chili peppers. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat it with the garlic and chili-infused olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Continue to cook and toss the spaghetti for another 2-3 minutes until it's heated through and well coated with the flavorful oil.
- Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the dish with fresh chopped parsley.
